Presence in France.

BLUE.  Common   GREEN Localised   ORANGE Rare    WHITE  Absent or disappeared.

Height. 20- 60cm

Leaves. 4 - 8 Narrow lanceolate, lower sheath like and purple spotted.

Flowers. Pale to deep reddish purple with a deeper often reddish veined tongue like lip.

Flowering period. April - June

Soil type. Grassy meadows, scrub and open woodlands. Neutral to slightly acid.

Protection. Regional. Pays de la Loire, Bretagne, Poitou-Charentes.
