Flowers.   Small pinkish blue - lilac.  Grass like leaves appear after the flowers.

Flowering period.  Aug - Oct

Habitat.    Dry grassland, pasture, undisturbed land (bulb). - Sandy calcareous soils, although most soil types tolerated.

Regions in France.   Most of France except the extreme east.
