Deciduous shrub.

Height.    up to 3 metres

Flowers.  Yellowish white, two lipped hairy on the outside and borne in pairs.

Flowering period.  May- July

Habitat.    Woodland margins, hedgerows, scrub.. Mainly on limestone.
